Indian Airforce to acquire ten counter-unmanned aircraft systems to tackle drone challenge

Days after the drone attack at the critical Jammu airbase, the Indian Airforce has decided to acquire ten counter-unmanned aircraft systems to beef up the security of the bases against the drone threat. The airforce has issued a request for information (RFI) to acquire 10 counter-unmanned aircraft systems. These unmanned systems will be purchased from Indian companies under the 'Make in India’ initiative.
