Indian biker arrested in Bhutan for insulting a sacred Buddhist Structure

Abhijit Ratan Hajare from Maharashtra was arrested by the Bhutan Police for hurting the religious sentiments of the netizens of Bhutan. Abhijit was seen climbing on a Chorten, a sacred stupa in Buddhism, which symbolizes the presence of Buddha. This caused outrage among the people in Bhutan. Abhijit was a part of the 15 bike convoy and his passport has been seized by RBP and he has been asked to appear for interrogation.
