Indigenous Indian Coast Guard ship 'Vigraha' commissioned by Rajnath Singh

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today commissioned the made in India Indian Coast Guard Ship 'Vigraha' in Chennai. The indigenously built 98-meter Offshore Patrol Vessel has been designed and built by Larsen & Toubro Ship Building Limited. It is a completely indigenous vessel. The Defence Minister said the word 'Vigraha' has very beautiful interpretations in Indian texts and added that it means ‘free from any kind of bondage’.
