ISRO chief K Sivan calls 2020- the year of Chandrayaan-3 and Gaganyaan

Chandrayaan-3, the third edition of India’s moon mission, has been approved by the government, ISRO chief K Sivan said. Chandrayaan-3 will be almost similar to its predecessor Chandrayaan-2. 4 astronauts have been identified for India's upcoming Gaganyaan mission. Gaganyaan is an Indian crewed orbital spacecraft intended to send astronauts to space for a minimum of 7 days by 2022, as part of the Indian Human Spaceflight Programme.
