Jet Airways to stop free-meals in economy section from 25th September

Jet Airways officials have announced that it will stop providing free meals in the economy class from 25th September. However the free beverages including tea and coffee will be there. Earlier passengers used to get free meals if they booked 'Economy light' or 'Economy deal' categories. According to Jet airways, they won't be able to maintain competitive ticket fares if they keep serving free meals.
