J&K militants killed ex-special police officer

On Wednesday a former special police officer was killed by militants in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district. Ashiq Hussain was targeted by masked gunmen outside his home at Naik Mohalla in Pingleena village in the afternoon, as informed by the officials. A joint team of the army and the police's special service group have launched a cordon-and-search operation in the area to catch the attackers.
