Former Mumbai police commissioner Rakesh Maria has revealed that the convict of 26/11 Mumbai attack Ajmal Mir Kasab was planned to die as Samir Dinesh Chaudhari, with a 'red thread tied around his wrist', projecting the blast done by a "Hindu Terrorist", but unfortunately the plan failed. The revelation has been mentioned in a book titled 'Let Me Say It Now', written by top cop Rakesh Maria.
