Kenya Goes Environment Friendly by Banning Plastic Bags

Kenya put a ban on the plastic bags on this Monday as the bags are linked to severe pollution. The people who are found to be in violation of the ban could receive upto four years in prison and a fine upto $38,0000. The ban applies to the importing, manufacturing and using the plastic bags as these bags are hazardous to the environment.
