Kolkata 'Beef' Festival is now Kolkata 'Beep' Festival after threats

The managing team of the event, 'Kolkata Beef Festival' has changed its name to 'Kolkata Beep Festival' after receiving numerous threat messages on account of using the word 'Beef' in the name of the event going to held on 23rd June. A spokesperson on Thursday said that they wanted to avoid unnecessary controversy and so changed 'Beef' to 'Beep' with a college student's idea. He said now they are getting a good response.
