Maharashtra police deploy women police officials in Gadchiroli to fight naxals

Maharashtra police has deployed several women personnel in Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra to fight against Naxalites. The major job of these women officials is to collect intelligence information and keeping a record of all the news and information pertaining to Naxals. They will also interact with the locals to get information about Naxals and their hideouts. They may also get into the deep forest areas for combat operations.
