Malaysian govt apologized for sexist advertising against the wives during Coronavirus lockdown

Malaysian government apologized to its women’s development department, after posting a series of sexist and derogatory advertisement during the ongoing Coronavirus lockdown. In the advertising women were told to not to do “nagging” or “ wearing makeup”. Domestic violence is on the rise and amid that such advertising attracted criticism toward the government. It has also been accused of ignorance toward domestic violence.
