Mandatory BCG vaccination shows fewer COVID-19 cases- Study

A new study from NYIT has found that those countries with mandatory policies to vaccinate against TB record fewer coronavirus deaths than countries that don't have such policies. US scientists have also said that BCG vaccine administered to millions of Indian children could be a game-changer. The BCG vaccine is part of India's universal immunisation programme given at birth. Indian scientists are hopeful but didn't comment yet.
