Maran brothers discharged from illegal telephone exchange scam

CBI court has discharged former telecom minister Dayanidhi Maran and his brother Kalanithi Maran from the telephone exchange scam case today. Dayanidhi Maran was accused of setting private telephone exchange at his residence and had caused state run telecom majors huge loss during 2004 to 2006. Kabil Sibal had defended the Maran brothers saying the allegation was falsely imposed on them.
