Market value of Amazon, Apple exceeds the combined market value of all Korean stocks

South Korea is central to the global supply chain for technology and electronics but it's failing to keep pace with few of its largest customers. The outcome is that the market value of Apple ($1.7 trillion), Microsoft ($1.5 trillion) or Amazon ($1.5 trillion) each now exceeds the combined capitalization of all firms on Korea's stock exchange ($1.4 trillion). Korea's largest company Samsung's shares also dropped about 3%.
