MCD facing a serious issue while disposing off plastic bags

Struggling to dispose of approximately 1200 kg polythene bags, MCD is facing a serious issue in disposing them off. Polythene bags can't be buried or burnt as they always proved to be disastrous for the environment. This situation has proved to be the most dangerous one since the plastic ban. Now, the sole option left with MCD is burying these plastic bags in the landfills.
