Tech-major Microsoft corporation issued a clarification after an uproar over its Bing search engine not showing image results for Tiananmen 'tank man' in United States. The firm shifted the blame for its search engine not showing the image on "accidental human error". However, David Greene, civil liberties director at Electronic Frontier Foundation argued that "it was purposeful suppression at the request of a powerful state."
