Milind Kaate named new chief of CIU after arrest of Sachin Waze

Inspector Milind Kaate has been given the responsibility to head the Crime Intelligence Unit after the suspension and arrest of Sachin Waze in connection with the Mansukh Hiren death case. The appointment of Waze came days after the appointment of Hemant Nagrale as the Mumbai Police Commissioner. 24 inspectors were posted to crime branch units on Tuesday. Sachin Waze is currently in the National Investigation Agency custody.
