Taiwan conducted a military drill amid the threat from China in the region. The Taiwanese military fired missiles from the air and the island's shore towards China on Thursday in a live-fire exercise. "We want the world to see our determination and efforts to protect our country." President Tsai Ing-wen said during the exercise. It was a five-day annual military exercise that is going to conclude on Friday.
