Mountaineers of ITBP climb Gangotri II peak in Uttarakhand

In a remarkable feat, the mountaineers of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) successfully climbed the Gangotri II peak (21,615 Ft) in Uttarakhand on September 26. The team comprising nine members from Sector Headquarters ITBP Dehradun climbed the peak at 8.20 am on September 26, 2020. The team completed the summit after continuous eight hours climb, under the leadership of Deputy Commandant Dipender Singh Mann.
