The Nepal government has decided that it will not bear the cost of treatment and tests of coronavirus patients in the country. The government has also decided against bearing the expenses of burying people who died during home isolation. The decision was taken by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and his administration earlier this month. Only frontline workers, physically disabled, single women and poor people will be treated for free.
