New type of Antibiotic discovered accidentally by Norwegian researchers

Antibiotic resistance is one of the world’s leading problem for death unless new drugs are developed. A team of cancer researcher at the Norwegian University has accidentally discovered that the Cancer drug they were working with had antibiotic effects against several bacteria. It is a crucial discovery as Bacteria have a strong ability to mutate and as a result, the body becomes resistant to antibiotics.
