Nirav Modi assets beat estimates, collected Rs 2.29 crore in online auction

The online auction of 72 luxury items seized from diamantaire Nirav Modi by the Enforcement Directorate ended on Wednesday with all lots sold. Saffronart, which conducted the auction on behalf of ED, had listed 51 designer bags, 20 luxury watches, and a car Porsche Panamera for sale. Well, ED was expecting to collect Rs 50 lakh in the auction, but it generated more than four times the expected number.
