No advance payment received, haven't supplied Covaxin: Bharat Biotech on Brazil's suspension of vaccine deal

India's vaccine manufacturer responded to the news that Brazil has suspended the $324 million vaccine procurement deal over allegations of irregularities on Jair Bolsonaro. Bharat Biotech said it had not received any advance payments nor supplied vaccines to the country. The firm said it was following a step-by-step approach towards contracts and regulatory approvals during an 8-month-long process.
