No country can achieve gender equality by 2030: UN

Even though women represent half of the world's population, no country on the planet has achieved gender equality, UN laments. It also said that advancing gender equality and empowering women is critical to achieve global goals, yet the women are underrepresented at all levels and face discrimination. The economic divide continues to divide the genders contributing higher rates of unemployment among women, UN added.
