No government jobs for people with more than 2 children in Assam

In a bid to tackle the growing population, the Assam Cabinet on Monday has decided that the people who have more than 2 children, will not be given any government jobs after January 1, 2021. It was one of the important decisions that were taken at the Cabinet meeting held late Monday evening. The government has also adopted a New Land Policy, under which the landless indigenous people will get 3 bighas of land for agriculture.
