Nobel for architecture won by Indian architect BV Doshi

Balkrishna Doshi, the legendary architecture is being honored with the Pritzker Architecture Prize, the highest honor of this profession. He is the first ever Indian architect to receive this honor. Previously globally renowned architects like IM Pei and Frank Gehry had won this. Doshi believes that his work is an extension of his dreams and he had remembered his guru Le Corbusier after receiving the honor.
