"Non-compliance will be viewed very seriously": ICMR writes to hospitals after concerns over vaccine launch before Aug 15

As several experts raised questions over the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR's) decision to launch the Covid19 vaccine by August 15, ICMR has written to the hospitals selected for clinical trials to not delay the process. ICMR Director-General Dr Balram Bhargava wrote to the hospitals, warning that “non-compliance will be viewed very seriously." He directed the hospitals to ensure subject enrollment by July 7.
