North Korea stole cryptocurrencies worth $300 million to fund nuclear program

According to a confidential UN report, North Korea used cyberattacks to steal cryptocurrencies worth more than $300 million to financially support its banned nuclear and ballistic missile programs. The country's "total theft of virtual assets from 2019 to November 2020 is valued at approximately $316.4 million," the report says. A report earlier revealed the collaboration between Iran and the North over banned weapons.
