Norway skies get illuminated by large meteor

On Sunday morning, a huge meteor lit up the night sky in Norway. At least a portion of it appears to have rumbled down near Oslo, the country's capital. “The meteor lighted up the sky for a brief period as though broad daylight soon after 1 am,” Steinar Midtskogen, a spokeswoman for the Norwegian Meteor Network, told CNN. A shock wave was felt by several persons who were near to the meteor's passage, according to Midtskogen.
