Telegram founder Pavel Durov has warned that Whatsapp will continue to be open its surveillance. He said every time Whatsapp has to fix a critical vulnerability in their app a new one seems to appear in its place. In 6 years of Telegram's existence, it didn't have any major data leak or security flaw like Whatsapp shows every few months. So, Durov thinks just updating Whatsapp's mobile app will not make it secure for anyone.
