Number of students using essay-mills on the rise

A study published in the journal Frontiers in Education has revealed that approximately 31 million students across the world have paid for contract cheating. It was found that students paying others to write their essays is on the rise, diminishing academic integrity. The study used 'self-report' studies and surveys to come to a conclusion that one in seven students use essay-mills and universities fail to detect them.
