One-horned rhino injured in road accident in Assam's Kaziranga National Park

A one-horned rhino got injured after a speedy vehicle hit it in Assam's Kaziranga National Park. The rhino was on National Highway 37 at Haladhibari animal corridor under Kahora forest range when the accident happened. The highway passes through the national park. The rhino was hit by a TATA DI vehicle. The vehicle was seized by forest and police personnel and the driver was fined Rs. 5,000 by the officials.
