Out of 9.1 million people who left formal jobs 1.85 million came back to jobs

According to the latest data from the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), nearly 9.1 million people left formal jobs in India and out of them only 1.85 million people came back to jobs. The calculated data is from September 2017 to August 2018. Though the specific reason has not been mentioned for leaving the job it could be due to retirement and retrenchment. Out every 9 who left the job, 2 came back.
