Even as China witnesses a fresh surge of coronavirus pandemic in several cities, a new form of African swine fever identified in Chinese pig farms has increased the concerns of health experts. The experts think the new strains of swine fever have emerged due to illicit vaccines. More than 1,000 sows have been infected by the two new strains of African swine fever. The strains don't kill pigs but cause a chronic condition.
