Over 120,000 evacuated, millions affected as incessant rainfall triggers floods in northern China

Continuous rainfall has triggered massive floods in north China's Shanxi province, resulting in the disruption of the lives of more than 1.76 million residents from 76 counties, cities and districts. More than 120,000 residents have been evacuated from the affected regions till now. The floods have damaged nearly 190,000 hectares of crops. Over 17,000 houses collapsed due to incessant rainfall in the country.
