Pakistan airspace closure results in losses of $100 Million for Islamabad

Following the Pulwama suicide bombing in February, the closure of Pakistan's airspace has affected nearly 400 flights a day, resulting in losses of almost $100 Million for Islamabad. On June 28, Pakistan's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announced the closure for overflight and transit flights which will continue till July 12. State-run Pakistan international airlines to is suffering due to suspension of flights from foreign destinations.
