Palwal farmers refuse to continue protest amid harvest season

The call by Samyukta Kisan Morcha for a 24-hour blockade of the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal expressway to lodge protest against the three farm laws by the centre failed to leave the desired impact as many farmers refused to join the protest. “We supported all the calls of Morcha so far, but it is peak harvest season. We told people to work. Farmers were coming here yesterday with tractors," Block committee member Rajkumar said.
