Paying power bill digitally, Punjab tops the list

When it comes to making payments digitally for power bills, Punjab tops the list, according to Urban Jyoti Abhiyaan (URJA) monthly ranking by the ministry. Last year, the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) received Rs438 crore power bills from the consumers, out of which 7 lakh were paid digitally. This year, PSPCL received 1,200 crores, and 95 lakhs were received by digital payment.
