Pentagon concerned about China's military exercise in Paracel Islands, South China sea

United States Department of Defense, Pentagon has expressed concerns over China's planned military exercise in the Paracel Islands in the South China sea between July 1 to July 5. Pentagon said such exercises violate Beijing's "commitments under the 2002 Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea to avoid activities that would complicate or escalate disputes and affect peace and stability."
