Pet Dog Saves Master from Snake-Bite but dies of snake-bite in Tamil Nadu

A pet dog in Thanjavur district, TN dies of snake bite after saving his master, a local farmer. The incident occurred when the owner was out along with the puppy for his morning walk in his agricultural fields. The owner 50-year-old Natarajan had been raising the puppy for the last 4 years. The pet dog pounced on the snake when it attacked him. Despite getting bitten by the snake several times, it managed to kill the snake.
