PETA blames meat industry for zoonotic diseases after death of 11-year-old due to bird flu

After an 11-year-old boy from Gurgaon passed away due to bird flu, PETA India has blamed the meat industry for the spread of zoonotic diseases. PETA India warned in an official statement that lives of not only chickens, but of children can also be lost due to zoonotic diseases. In a billboard put up near the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, PETA also held the meat industry responsible for COVID-19.
