After Disney trademarked Swahili phrase "Hakuna Matata", which means 'no problem', one Shelton Mpala has created a petition against Disney for appropriation, calling them to drop it. The petition, which accuses Disney of 'colonialism and robbery', has been signed by more than 50,000 people. The famous phrase was popularised by Kenyan band 'Them Mushrooms' and later used in Disney's The Lion King franchise.
