Taal volcano in the Philippines continues to erupt despite less amount of ash production earlier in the week. Scientists are baffled about what might happen next. The research data has revealed the lake that used to fill the Taal crater has now almost entirely disappeared as this lake water interacted with magma driving a lot of the early explosive behaviour. The ground area surrounding the volcano is also deforming.
