Plight of Uighur Muslims revealed after leaked texts from China's detention camps

BBC has published a leaked conversation by Merdan Ghappar from a Chinese detention camp meant for Uighur Muslims. 30-year-old Ghappar sent texts to his family members living outside China. The detainees are kept in small caged rooms where there is not enough room for everyone to sleep lying down, one of the message's translation read. Ghappar, who worked with retail company Taobao was taken to a detention camp earlier this year.
