President Sirisena: India sent terror alert to Sri Lanka, but I wasn't told

Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena told an alert about a possible terror attack was sent by Indian Intelligence agencies to their counterparts 17 days prior to April 21 bombings, but he was not informed about it. He said had he known about a possible attack, he would have taken necessary steps to prevent it. He attended PM Modi's swearing-in ceremony. Sirisena was on a foreign trip on April 16.
