Punjab and Haryana High Court stays investigation against former Punjab DGP till February 2022

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has stayed the investigations against former Punjab DGP Sumedh Singh Saini in connection with multiple cases, till the assembly elections in Punjab which are scheduled to take place in February 2022. "There'll be a clear stay for the arrest of the petitioner in all cases, till polls in Punjab is held which are due in Feb 2022 onwards," the court said in its order.
