Rainfall threatens Louisiana as tropical storm Barry moves inland

Hurricane Barry has made its landfall in Louisiana, US and weakened to a tropical storm. The storm, earlier called Category 1 hurricane, brought heavy rainfall and flooding to knocking out power for thousands in the locality. The US coast guards have already rescued at least 12 people amid floodwaters in Louisiana. A Storm Surge Warning is in effect for Intracoastal City to Biloxi, Mississippi and Lake Pontchartrain.
