Report says Delhi can switch to 100% clean energy by 2050

Delhi-NCR can be switched to 100% clean energy by 2050. This is according to the Finland's Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology and Delhi-based 'Climate Trends' study. The report finds that greenhouse gas emissions in northern India can be reduced from 825 metric tons of carbon-dioxide equivalent in 2020 to zero by 2050 across all energy sectors as well as create five million new jobs.
