Researchers develop device to prevent medical staff from contracting Covid from patients

As coronavirus cases continue to rise across the world, researchers in Portugal have developed an aerosol-protective barrier to protect medical staff from contracting the disease. The barrier can be placed over patients to prevent the spreading of aerosol droplets to medical staff. The device is like a box that has been made from transparent acrylic that rests on top of the patient. The device is called COVINBox-BPA.
