Scientists have uncovered the world's oldest surviving digital computer after its long-lost user manual. The Z4, which was built in 1945, runs on tape and takes up most of a room. It needs several people to operate it. Evelyn Boesch found the manual among her father's documents in March. Among Boesch documents, there were notes on math problems which the Z4 solved that were linked to the development of P16 jet fighter.
